Company ProfileUNITED ELEVATOR SERVICES LLC. is a local independent elevator company established in 1957, devoted to the installation and service of commercial and residential elevators. While our initial sphere of operations has been East Tennessee, we now install and service elevators and handicap lifts in East Tennessee, South East Kentucky, South West Virginia, Chattanooga, and the Memphis area. Placing emphasis on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction has allowed us to pursue steady and continuing growth. At United you can talk directly to the owner of the company to discuss your specific requirements. United insures your satisfaction by furnishing mechanics that are constantly attending in house and factory training programs. Our service mechanics are furnished with company service vehicles that include tools and parts for your elevators. UNITED ELEVATOR SERVICES LLC. Is a member of NAEC (National Association Of Elevator Contractors), ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors), AIA (American Institute of Architects), AGC (Associated General Contractors), and CSI (Construction Specifications Institute). Chief Manager, David Vickers, is QEI Certified and a second-generation owner of United Elevator Services LLC. David started out as a helper and worked his way up through the field to become Chief Manager. Service Director, Richard J. Bohnenberger, has over 34 years in the elevator industry. He has worked with and laid out projects for architects such as I M Pei, Skidmore Owens & Merrill, 3DI, Barber & McMurry, Holsaple McCarty & Holsaple, and many others. He has worked in both new equipment and service in South Carolina, Florida, Dallas, Nashville, and Knoxville. He is also a frequent guest speaker at the University of Tennessee School of Architecture.
